CVST vs Springdale Meet Results and Announcements
Good evening!
We are going to sleep tonight as an undefeated team, as we won today's meet 257-213! There was a lot of time improvements, a couple of records broken, and straehle times achieved today! Congrats to everyone!!
I am attaching the meet results from today's meet and I included the CVST records and straehle times on it as well. We have a couple of swimmers who are inching their ways towards making straehles, so I hope that we can have as many swimmers as possible making the trip to the big meet at the end of the season!
I hope everyone enjoyed the first non-rainy meet we have had at Springdale (from what I can remember) and our first away meet in 3 years! I am so proud of everyone for trying new strokes, dropping times, and even swimming in a meet that wasn't at our home pool for the first time in a while or ever! Thank you again to the parents for making the trip and for volunteering to help run the meet away from home.
I have a few announcements and reminders:
NO PRACTICE JULY 4TH!
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy 4th of July, we will see you all again at practice on the 5th!
DIVE CLINICS
I have created a new SignUpGenius for dive clinics for the next two weeks. Coaches Lucy and Violet will be helping take over a couple of the days, so look to see who your money will be going to when you sign up! I have attached the link below:

TURN CLINICS
Introducing turn clinics! I have seen that a lot of swimmers could benefit from some help on turns, whether that be flip turns, IM turns, or turns for any stroke! Turns can make a huge difference when looking to drop time, so I wanted to hold a few turn clinics for swimmers looking to get some extra work on turns outside of practice. I am attaching the sign up link below:

****Remember to RSVP for next weekend’s meet at HOME vs Summer Hill by MONDAY NIGHT at 11:59pm. I will not be accepting any new swimmers into the lineup past that time and day.
Thank you so much to all of the swimmers and families for making today such a fun first away meet. Get ready to work hard this week in practice so that we can defend our record next weekend! GO DOLPHINS!
