Good evening,

Congrats to everyone for competing in and WINNING our first meet of the 2022 season! We won our meet against Woodbridge Valley 315-166!

Everyone did an amazing job today, whether that was trying a new event, our six swimmers and three relays qualifying for Straehles, and breaking seven pool records! I am so proud of how everyone performed and all of the support everyone showed each other today!

I am attaching the results of the meet to this email. You may see a DQ next to a swimmer’s name if they were disqualified and therefore their time does not count towards a race. I noticed most DQs were on small things like finishes and turns which are easy fixes and things that us coaches will be sure to remind swimmers of during practice this week! I don’t want any swimmers discouraged if they were disqualified in their first time trying an event, there is always room to learn and improve and that’s what we have the rest of the season for! 

I want to thank all the parents and volunteers once again for helping make this meet happen, I hope you all enjoyed today as much as the kids and coaches did!

PRACTICE TIMES:

The practices will begin running from 8-11am Mondays through Fridays for the rest of the season. If you are unable to attend morning practices due to conflicts, we are also holding evening practices Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm (be sure to RSVP if you are attending evening practices so coaches can plan for the volume of swimmers attending since the pool will still be open during this time).

****Remember to RSVP for next weekend’s meet AWAY at Springdale by TOMORROW NIGHT at 11:59pm. I will not be accepting any new swimmers into the lineup past that time and day.
